Trump’s appointment of Miller as the Chief of Staff reinforces Trump’s Hitler- like pursuit of dominance and cruel hatred towards a group of people that he has deemed dangerous and non- human.  He remains committed to the cruel policies he has ordered the heinous Stephen Miller to carry out: the atrocities against immigrants, minorities, and Americans who oppose the Nazi- inspired tactics of the Trump/Miller regime.

Trump’s reaction to massively losing the midterms this week was to arrogantly and stupidly elevate Steven Miller to control the White House. By doing so, he is communicating to the voters who repudiated him that he is doubling down on embracing racism, hatred, and dictatorship. His power has been minimized, and the anti- American regime he leads is going in the same downward direction as the Third Reich.

The Nazi Party’s goal was to remove Jews from German cultural and economic life, and eventually to remove them from the country altogether. In addition to his propaganda efforts, Goebbels actively promoted the persecution of the Jews by enacting pogroms, legislation, and other cruel actions. The discriminatory measures he instituted in Berlin in the early years of the regime included bans on their use of public transport and requiring that Jewish shops be marked with yellow stars to expose their identities for prosecution and ultimately extermination.
