STATES RIGHTS ARE DYING. THE CONSTITUTION IS DYING. NATIONAL SECURITY IS DYING. DECENCY IS DYING. FREEDOM IS DYING. AMERICANS ARE DYING. CONGRESS IS ALLOWING WHAT THE FOUNDING FATHERS WARNED US ABOUT: ANOTHER KING GEORGE.
THE COURTS ARE TRYING TO STOP THE REPUBLICAN COUP. CAN THEY ALSO FORCE THE MILITARY TO DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION AND REFUSE TO FOLLOW ILLEGAL ORDERS BY DONALD TRUMP? OUR NON-MAGA LEADERS NEED TO ENACT STRATEGIES THAT NEUTRALIZE, NOT EXPAND, PRESIDENTIAL POWERS. THE AMERICAN RESISTANCE AGAINST THE REPUBLICAN PARTY’S MARCH TOWARDS AUTHORITARIANISM MUST DEMAND THAT ELECTED OFFICIALS FOLLOW THE CONSTITUTION AND RESIST THE AUTOCRATIC ASSAULTS ON OUR FREEDOMS BY DONALD TRUMP: STRATEGIES TO IMPLEMENT:
● Encourage military leaders to assert their influence over the troops’ attitudes towards democracy and follow the Constitution over deference to Trump’s violations.
● Lawsuits must be filed in cases where military personnel carry out illegal orders.
● The public must conduct protests demanding that our military refuse to take illegal actions ordered by Trump or his Cabinet
● State Attorneys General must label their lawsuits as emergencies that require expedient attention by the courts.
● Sue ICE or military personnel for assaulting immigrants and protesters
● State-elected Democrats must bring lawsuits against state-elected Republican officials when they vote in favor of violations of federal laws in service to Trump
● The media must regularly air all feeble, dishonest, racist, unconstitutional, violent, ignorant, or dangerous behaviors or statements by Donald Trump.
● Frequent airing of television documentaries on topics such as Trump’s felonies, civil and federal indictments, immoral, perverted actions towards women, racist actions and statements, anti-constitutional acts, incitement of violence, alliances with white supremacists, poor presidential judgment, incidents of cognitive decline in memory and delusional thinking, abuse of power, and suspicious alliances with dictators.
● Use of funding for anti- Trump, pro- democracy billboards in red states
● Send informational mailers to red counties on the economy, loss of federal benefits, and constitutional violations by Trump and his allies.
● Apply public pressure to Republican Senators and House reps in blue states and counties who are voting for anti-constitutional Trump policies.
● Funding for television commercials in red states addressing loss of freedoms, loss of federal benefits, and the destruction of the Constitution
● Call for recall elections in states and districts where elected officials are breaking their oaths of office.
● Organize an insurrection-size demonstration at the Supreme Court Building to demand the Court modify their immunity ruling that is causing the destruction of the Constitution. NON-VIOLENT BUT “WILD”.
● Organize an impeachment demonstrations at the Capitol building
● Keep track and report on deaths that result from Trump and the Republican Party’s policies.
