Trump is no scholar, that is a widespread, known fact. However, he is well-studied in the politics of fascist dictators and well-mentored by 1970s mafia lawyer Roy Cohn. Cohn taught Trump how to commit crimes and avoid prosecution. However, what is aiding his abuse of the justice system are judges who are intimidated by his bullying and sociopathic manipulations.
WHY CAN’T AN UNQUALIFIED, BLATANTLY BIASED JUDGE OF EITHER PARTY BE REMOVED FROM A CASE?
Judge Aileen Cannon in Florida should not be not have been re-seated to the Mara-a- Lago stolen documents case. She made such incompetent rulings early on in the case she was overridden by the 11th Circuit Court. Her blatant bias towards Trump should disqualify her from the case. However, judges are elevated to such esteem and power they are allowed to delay justice for an ex-president who stole over 100 classified documents, incited an insurrection, obstructed justice, and put our country’s national security at risk.
The Republican Justices are partisan, corrupt, and non- transparent. Kavanagh was credibly accused of raping a girl in college. additionally, he lied during his confirmation hearing about accepting Roe v Wade being settled law. Amy Coney Barrett lied during her confirmation hearing about Roe v Wade being settled law. Clarence Thomas has taken exhorbitant gifts from rich donors and refuses to recuse himself from cases where there is an obvious conflict of interest regarding his alt-right activist wife Ginny. Neil Gorsuch and Chief Justice John Robert’s have engaged in questionable business deals that signal potential unethical behaviors. The justices are delaying scheduling hearings on Trump’s claim of presidential immunity and are taking cases to shape the country in their far-right, Christian extremist image. Trump and Mitch McConnell’s corrupt stacking of the Court should alert the Democrats to expand the number of justices. There is no law that restricts the Court to nine judges.
Judges know he is guilty. Therefore, the least they can do is not allow his bogus claims and appeals to cause significant delays in beginning his trials. The majority of the American people know Trump is a crook, a grifter, and a liar. They know he hates democracy. They should also know that dictators, autocrats, and strongman like Trump do not have good endings. History tells us that jail, suicide, or forced exile is how they end. Their corruption and criminality is fueled by personality disorders that lead them to self-distruct. Trump is going in the direction of self-destruction. His grandiousity, narcissism, paranoia, and anti- social personality disorder are becoming more apparent in his public appearances. His base is shrinking because his blatant commitment to autocracy is scaring people away from him.
THE BOTTOM LINE IS MOST AMERICANS WANT TO LIVE IN A DEMOCRACY. THEY WANT THEIR FREEDOMS TO BE PROTECTED. THEY DON’T WANT PUTIN ROAMING THE HALLS OF THE WHITE HOUSE. THEY DON’T WANT TO LOSE THEIRVSOCIAL SECURITY OR MEDICARE. THEY ALSO WANT TO BEBTOLD FACTS ANDVTHE TRUTH.
JUDGES NEED TO STOP GIVING IN TO TRUMP‘S DELAY STRATEGY. THE VOTING PUBLIC NEEDS TO HEAR THE EVIDENCE ON THE CHARGES OF WHICH TRUMP IS ACCUSED BEFORE ELECTION DAY.
