Trump is violent. His followers are violent. The election denier candidates condone violence in the name of the MAGA movement. Of all of the investigations into Trump’s criminal acts against democracy, the most important of all should be his domestic terror campaigns against targets such as all democrats, Republicans who oppose him, immigrants, the non- Fox News media, and judges and lawyers who rule against him. He has normalized violence to a level that puts the lives of millions of Americans at risk. His recent comments in an interview with tv host Hugh Hewitt illustrated a violent dog-whistle to insurrectionists, MAGA maniacs, psychotics, cultists and religious extremists to use violence if he is indicted. Donald Trump needs to be indicted. America must protect it’s citizens, democracy and domestic and national security from this violent movement inspired by Trump and his autocratic ideology which aligns with fascist governments, not democracies.

The Department of Justice has no choice. Trump has broken too many laws to escape justice. He and his allies continue to spit in the face of democracy. Violence is inevitable, but America cannot be bullied into becoming an autocracy.
