The Supreme Court taking away individual rights is unprecedented. The Court rules typically to expand rights, not take them away. However, in a democracy crumbling under the influence of an inhumane, religious extremist Republican party, the individual rights of non-white, non-Christian Americans will continue to be eliminated.
Possibly except for Justice Roberts, these judges are religious fanatics, misogynists, Trump surrogates, bigots, and elitists who now defile the once prestigious Supreme Court. This observation is not based on being a republican vs. a democrat. The Court is nothing more than a political arm of Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, and alt-right Republicans who not only have no right to hold office; they have no right to call themselves Americans. They are faux patriots who do not care about every American. Poor, black, brown, Asian, indigenous, LGTBQ, and disabled Americans are irrelevant to the current radicalized Republican party. Except for the ultra-religious Amy Coney- Barrett, the Court majority is male-dominated and out of touch with what most Americans stand for. This Court has a national approval rating of 25%. Let’s let them know our rejection of Donald Trump includes them. Once they and their families fall victim to their horrendous rulings, they may realize why they will go down in history as shameful, anti- democracy traitors of the Constitution.
The Court basically put their religious feelings about an unborn fetus ahead of the physical and mental health of women and girls. These wealthy, bought by corporation elitists will undoubtedly get their kids or grandkids abortions in secret if they are raped or their lives are endangered by pregnancy. This ruling is one more piece of evidence that the justices don’t care about the poor, women, minorities or children. These justices are beneath the integrity of the Court. Clarence Thomas is corrupt and should be censured, removed or constantly investigated. He is up to no good with his wacky, conspiracy theorist wife who may be indicted for the plot to steal the 2020 presidential election.
Biden rightfully referred to the Trump Supreme Court as one of extreme ideology that does not reflect the will of majority of Americans. He referred to the criminality the ruling imposes on doctors and women as cruel. He promised to take whatever action that is within his power as president to protect women’s rights such as:
- Appeal to voters to vote for candidates who will vote to codify Roe v Wade
- Alert voters to the reality that other privacy rights are in danger due to the extremist, Trump Supreme Court
- Will use the power of his office to protect contraception rights and the right of women to travel to obtain an abortion
- Will monitor the post offices attempts to interrupt the mailing of contraception
- Will write executive orders as needed to protect women’s rights
PRESIDENT BIDEN HAS TO GO BIG AND BOLD. EXPAND THE NUMBER OF SUPREME COURT JUSTICES. PRESSURE THE DOJ TO PROSECUTE EVERY PERSON INVOLVED IN TRYING TO OVERTURN THE RESULTS OF THE 2020 ELECTION. ANNOUNCE THAT INDICTING TRUMP MUST HAPPEN TO PROTECT THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENCY AND DEMOCRACY. SUPPORT THE ECONOMIC RETALIATION BY CORPORATIONS, THE SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRIES AGAINST STATES THAT MAKE ABORTIONS ILLEGAL.
66% of Americans are against the overturning of Roe v Wade. Gay Americans, other members of the LGTBQ community, millennials, and Gen Z voters must realize that this alt-right Trump Supreme Court threatens their privacy rights. The resistance movement against Trump, Kevin McCarthy, Mitch McConnell, and the MAGA movement has to grow in size, frequency, and intensity. Former Christian extremist Vice President Mike Pence calls for a national abortion ban. America is not and never has been a Christian country. It is becoming more diverse religiously and culturally day by day, and there is nothing the MAGA movement can do to stop that. Morality and equality in America will eventually win. In the meantime, as women’s rights become less equal, we can create a perverse form of equality by either banning vasectomies or forcing unwanted vasectomies on men and prohibiting the sale of viagra and other male performance drugs. Clarence Thomas’s prescription for viagra should be the first one to be halted.
