Yesterday’s Hearings Revealed Two Of  Donald Trump’s Darkest Character Traits; He Promotes And Enjoys Violence And Shows Enjoyment In Destroying The Personal And Professional Lives Of People He Doesn’t Care About. Trump Has Never Denounced Any Of The Violence Committed in Support Of Him. On Jan. 6th, Trump Watched The Violence Committed By His Supporters Against Capitol Police And The Threats To Kill Mike Pence And Nancy Pelosi He Did Nothing To Stop It For 187 Minutes. It Is Reported He Enjoyed The Violence Against Women.

Rusty Bowers is a staunch conservative. He voted for Donald Trump twice. However, when pressured by Trump to break his oath of office and violate the Constitution by falsifying election results, he said, “no”. He stated he didn’t want to win by  “cheating”. He also said ” my faith tells me the Constitution is divinely inspired” and his sincerity and patriotism was palpable. The difference in character betwwen Speaker Bowers and Donald Trump I s astounding. The integrity that Bowers exuded was the antithesis of the corruption and indecency that Trump exudes. The hearing Tuesday focused on the pressure campaign Trump and his allies put on state election officials and poll workers. Mr. Bowers reported being pressured by Trump, attorney John Eastman, and Rudy Giuliani to call for investigations of fraud in the Arizona election. They pressured him to decertify the electors for the state. Bowers held firm and said, “I won’t t do it.” The assault on Bowers by Trump resulted in acts of intimation and harrassment towards the Arizona official.

It’s a new pattern in our lives to worry about what will happen on Saturdays,” Bowers said about his family. “Because we have various groups come by in video trucks accusing me of being a pedophile and corrupt politician blaring loudspeakers and threatening him and his neighbors.” Trump is a thug, a low-life, and an American embarrassment around the world. Me. Bowers, like so many Republican officials, weathered the pressure to support the ” big lie” and saved democracy. Still, the extremist ideology of the alt-right lives in Bowers as he admits he would vote for Trump again. He supports racist, elitist policies but won’t break the law. Mr. Bowers, find another conservative candidate to support.

Poll workers from Fulton County Georgia Shaye Moss and her mother Ruby Freeman we’re publicly named by Donald Trump as stealing the Georgia election from him. Without proof and with malice, Trump targeted these individual Americans publicly putting their lives in danger. Trump and Giuliani accused Moss and her mother of processing fake ballots in favor of Joe Biden. Moss’s testimony was a sad, disturbing commentary on the current Republican party and the state of our democracy. Ms. Ms. Moss admitted, “it’s turned my life upside down. I no longer give out my business card… I don’t want anyone knowing my name,” Moss told the committee. “I don’t go to the grocery store at all. I haven’t been anywhere at all. I’ve gained about 60 pounds. I just don’t do nothing anymore,” she added. The president of the United States takes an oath to protect every American from harm. Never in the history of the United States has a president publicly targeted individual Americans with violence-inspiring rhetoric.

HOW WOULD TRUMP, MCCONNELL, MCCARTHY, TRUMP’S CHILDREN, AND OTHER REPUBLICAN OFFICIALS REACT IF ANGRY DEMOCRATS STARTED SHOWING UP AT THEIR HOMES, HOLDING GUNS, CARRYING BANNERS PROMOTING VIOLENCE AGAINST THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES? IF THE RADICALIZED VIOLENCE INSPIRED BY TRUMP AND HIS SUPPORTERS DOESN’T STOP, PEOPLE ARE GOING TO DIE. WHILE WE PRAISE SPECIFIC REPUBLICANS FOR DEFENDING THE CONSTITUTION AND DEFYING TRUMP’S REQUEST TO OVERTURN A DEMOCRATIC ELECTION, WE MUST STILL SEE THOSE WHO SAY THEY WOULD STILL VOTE FOR TRUMP AGAIN AS POTENTIAL ENEMIES OF DEMOCRACY.

The founding fathers took tyranny seriously when they were drafting the Constitution. They feared giving too much power to one branch of the federal government would lead to the loss of rights for some Americans. Thomas Jefferson, in Federalist 48 explains that “concentrating all the power of government in one body, even if it was an elected legislature, would be the very definition of despotic government, and that “173 despots would surely be as oppressive as one.” Donald Trump admires dictators. He has admitted he likes the unrestricted power they have. He likes the idea of lifelong power of a president obtained through rigged elections in countries run by despots. Isn’t it ironic and clarifying, that Trump called the most fraud-free presidential in US history ” rigged” because he didn’t win while he was committing criminal attempts to overturn the results of the election.

Violent threats from Trump supporters are increasing toward the members of the Jan. 6th Committee. Trump continues to play the victim and incite violent reactions within his base over the evidence the committee reveals about the crimes he committed against the Constitution. Hopefully, the Department of Justice will take action against Trump and his supporters who encourage violent retaliation against citizens who oppose their views. Does MAGA support free speech for all Americans? Does MAGA defend the Constitution? Or is America witnessing an ex-president and the Republican party attempt to destroy our democracy? The evidence is mounting from the testimonies of uncorrupted, non-MAGA Republicans that Trump is guilty of multiple federal crimes.
