On Jan. 4th, The Hill reported “the panel reviewed five communications sent by the conservative commentator among dozens in the committee’s possession, including previously unreleased texts they argue they show he “had advance knowledge regarding President Trump and his legal team’s planning for Jan. 6th attempt to stop the certification of Joe Biden’s electoral win. The texts are explicit in their reference to a plan by Trump allies and some lawyers to stop Joe Biden from becoming the 46th president and to illegally reinstate Trump to the office. Anyone who thinks Trump didn’t know the attempted coup was taking place is naive, corrupt, or brainwashed and in need of programming.
The “big lie” is nothing more than Trump’s attempt to cope with the pain and shame of a loss his pathologically weak ego cannot manage. Before he won the 2016 presidential election, he called the election ” rigged” because he believed he would lose to Hillary Clinton. You don’t need a degree in psychology to see his pattern of inserting the ” it’s rigged” prediction in any election where he fears he will lose or that any Republican will lose. Trump voters may be angered by being called dumb or cultists; however, most of the world can see right through Trump’s transparent corruption and clinically significant level of insecurity, shame, and narcissism. These observations are not liberal false narratives; they are apparent observations of millions of members of both political parties.
The Jan 6th committee is closing in on the conspiracy by a high-level circle of Trump allies. Steve Bannon, who hopefully will be found guilty of being an insurrectionist and taken off the political scene in America. Ban on, and most of Trump’s friends and political hate American democracy. This assessment is evident in their willingness to invent a lie to justify overturning a democratically won election. The lie being told by Republicans is that MAGA ideology represents protecting constitutionally granted liberties. MAGA is an ideology of authoritarianism, which will bring about the ” loss” of freedom. Trump supporters rally for Trump-like preteen girls at a Justin Bieber concert. At least Bieber demonstrates a level of competence at what he does and isn’t instigating a violent attack on democracy and a racist movement that divides, not unites America
