President Biden Delivered A Passionate Speech At Arlington National Cemetery Today To Commemorate Memorial Day. Biden Is A Compassionate Defender Of Veterans And Members Of The Military Who Lost Their Lives Defending Our Democracy. He Expressed Thanks To Family Members Who Lost Love Ones In Service To Our Country. Biden Is A Stark Contrast To Former President Trump Who Called Dead Soldiers  “Losers And Suckers” And Used Members Of The Military As Props To Threaten Peaceful Protestors.

The compassion that President Biden shows towards our fallen soldiers is humble and sincere. He lost his son Beau five years ago to brain cancer that is suspected to have been caused by exposure to burn pits in Afghanistan. In Beau, in saw the suffering that can result from fighting to defend democracy. He has experienced the same loss that so many military families have endured. He respects the service and sacrifice of soldiers who were killed in the prime of their lives. As President, Biden has taken actions to make easier the lives of surviving veterans after completion of their service such as:

Biden’s commitment to approving government funding for veterans services has not diminished his support for defense funding. His respect for the courage all military members show remains apparent in his words and actions.

In contrast, the politically motivated, disrespectful cruelty of Trump against war veterans has been a stain on the presidency. Current and former members of the military must unify and vote against a man who dodged the draft five times on a bogus claim of crippling pain from bone spurs and who has disparaged war hostages and slain soldiers.

The greatest act of patriotism the military establishment can do to defend our democracy is to break its tradition of staying out of politics and campaign against Donald TrumpGenerals and Admirals agree that Trump is unfit to be Commander-in-Chief. Most of these officers are Republicans.
