There is evil and bad people in this world. However, unfounded, politically motivated demonization and dehumanization of others results in a level of fear that sows hatred and violence towards good people of different backgrounds. When political leaders engage in the spread of lies about groups of people to incite fear and hatred, people on both sides of that narrative suffer. It hurts to be hated. It also hurts the self to become hateful. People who parent from anger emotionally damage their children. Political leaders who govern with anger and hate as their message damage and potentially destroy a country.

Parents exhibiting a contorted face and loud voice of anger and hatred would scare and damage the psyche of a child. The same is true of it’s affect on a country. Additionally, vulnerable and gullible adults are incited to a level of fear and hatred that creates a divisive and violent environment. The level of constant rage, hatred, revenge and cruelty that Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans exhibit indicates the existence of a mood or character disorder. Normal people naturally prefer and seek to create a safer, calmer, congenial, and empathic way of life. Divisive, power-hungry, hypocritical, vengeful politics is a choice not a requirement of governing.

IT IS NOTEWORTHY THAT THREATS TO JAIL OPPONENTS WHO HAVE NOT COMMITTED OR BEEN LEGALLY ACCUSED OF CRIMES ARE EXCLUSIVELY MADE BY REPUBLICANS, NOT DEMOCRATS. THREATS TO THROW OUT PARTS OR ALL OF THE CONSTITUTION ARE BEING MADE ONLY BY THE FAKE REPUBLICAN DONALD TRUMP, NOT PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN.

The loss of any personal freedom is a move towards autocracy. Murderous, manaical doctors in history have, for a period of time, scared people into believing that taking away the right to be free and stay alive of certain dehumanized populations is the way to protect the white, superior race. When Trump says immigrants, Black Lives Matter, and LGBTQ members are damaging our country’s identity and integrity, he is putting lives in danger. His hateful rhetoric and physical presentation at his rallies mirrors that of Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin and countless other fascist dictators who caused the deaths of millions of people.
