Would Trump supporters be okay with a Democrat having supreme power to pass laws that took away rights, such as their freedom of religious expression, their right to bear arms, their right to safely and respectfully be who they are, their access to the books they want to read in school, and their right to reproductive freedom? Are they comfortable with a Democrat who would mirror the same anger, violence, bigotry, and lawlessness demonstrated by Trump toward anyone who opposes him?
REMEMBER, TRUMP SUGGESTED HE WOULD CHANGE THE CONSTITUTION TO SUPPORT ABSOLUTE POWER FOR A PRESIDENT. THEREFORE, TO PROTECT AMERICA REFORMS MUST OCCUR, SUCH AS;
- A sitting president could be indicted
- Presidents would be elected by the popular vote, not by an electoral college
- Lifetime appointments to the Supreme Court and federal judge appointments would be reduced to four years of service .
- If an elected official or Supreme Court justice is under investigation for potential serious crimes or ethical violations, they would be suspended until a verdict is delivered by a jury.
- No felons would be allowed to hold public office, including the the presidency
- Presidential candidates would be exempt from running for the office unless they make public their tax returns, school records, and any minor or major criminal history
- Insurrectionists and ” big lie” believers would lose the right to vote for five years.
- Elimination of all religious practices and ideologies from politics would become law.
- Candidates for president and vice-president would have to pass a test on their knowledge of the Constitution before the general election occurs.
- Candidates for president and vice-president would have to undergo a psychological and physical medical exam before the general election occurs.

GUN REFORM:
- All assault weapons would be banned
- Gun ownership would be limited to two guns per family
- Open carry laws would be revoked
- Background checks would be mandatory. Gun sellers who violated that law would lose their license to sell guns for two years.
REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM:
- Bans on vasectomies and condoms could be enacted through an executive order. The MAGA Congress and courts would have no power to block that law. Men could lose control of their reproductive choices. Women’s reproductive rights would be restored.
- Charges would be made against men who sought to obtain illegal forms of birth control.
- The President would have the authority to order the reversal of vasectomies.
Accountability for those who called Joe Biden an illegitimate president:
- Those found to have been involved in any”stop the steal.” activity would be forced by the government to return stimulus money received from the Biden Administration. They would also have a tracking devices placed on their cars to block the usage of any of Biden’s infrastructure bridges or roads until the president decided to lift the restriction.
- The government would lift all current bans on books that taught about black history, the Holocaust, and LGBTQ issues and replace them with bans on books that mention the words Christianity, Jesus, God or the Confederacy.
- All identified MAGA members who asserted the lie that Joe Biden lost the election would be dropped from their Obamacare health insurance.
- Trump supporters who promoted the “big lie” would have to produce evidence of that treasonist assertion or lose their right to vote in the next election.
If a democrat was elected president in a MAGA transformed America, the government could enact a Trump-like revenge campaign aimed to show the MAGA enthusiasts the cruelty of their ideology. Governing like an autocrat is not the vision democrats have for America. However, the extremists might recover their sanity and ability to feel compassion if forced to experience the kind of cruelty Trump the MAGA Republican members of Congress and The Supreme Court inflicted on millions of Americans. The major goal of a democrat led autocracy would be to form a government that could never again allow a white nationalist, evangelical movement to gain control over our democracy.
One year ago, Trump humiliated America in Helsinki by siding with Vladimir Putin in his denial of interfering in the 2016 presidential election. He kissed Putin’s feet, creating a global cringe. Putin glowed as he watched our puppet president side with one of America’s most dangerous enemies, placing trust in him over our intelligence community. At that moment, it became clear Trump had a personal agenda with Putin, and America’s national security and reputation were at risk. The silent Republican members of Congress and Trump supporters should be held accountable for the damage Trump and Trumpism have done to the American way of life.
