Michael Cohen’s New Book “Revenge” Warns Us “Without A Democracy, We Will Not Have Fair Elections, We Will Not Have The Rule Of Law, And We Will Not Have A Successful Economy.” History Shows That Autocracies Create Failed Economies. Unfortunately, Because The Republican Party Assaulted America By Electing And Emboldening The Autocratic, Racist, Corrupt Donald Trump, We Face Mid-term Elections Where We Must Choose Between The Temporary High Price Of Chicken And Gas And Keeping Our Democracy.

President Joe Biden is not deterred by his undeserved low poll numbers, the ” big lie” hoax, or the relentless assault on his stellar legislative achievements by Trump and his MAGA allies. Biden has passed legislation on 1) gun reform, 2) climate change, 3) infrastructure, 4) the America Rescue Plan for COVID economic recovery and the 5) Chipps Bill to fund medical treatment for veterans exposed to toxic fumes from burnpits on foreign battlefields.

Today, Biden reminded Americans that in addition to the laws that will help America recover from the pandemic and the support funding the Russian assault on Ukraine, his policies have resulted in a 1.4 trillion reduction in the deficit. Biden explained the bills he has signed have not cost the average American any additional taxes or taken any funding from other programs on which they depend. Biden’s approach to keeping America a strong, free, prosperous society is grounded in our American values, fulfilling the needs of the average American, and protecting our democracy. Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” is grounded in racism, autocracy, elitism and corruption. President Biden made it clear that the mid-term election results will either sustain or destroy democracy.

He doesn’t love America. He doesn’t love his supporters, especially the seniors, disabled, non- white, non- Christian and the poor. He mocks the evangelicals behind their backs. He doesn’t love women as equals. He loves, power, money, and HIMSELF. It is sad so many Republican Americans excuse corruption, dishonesty and immorality in choosing candidates for political office. If the MAGA’s take over, America will be a democracy in name only, just like Russia.
Michael Cohen knows Donald Trump better than anyone. He was his personal attorney, his fixer, and loyal friend. However, when Trump ordered him to pay hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels, he was convicted of campaign finance violations and jailed while Trump escaped accountability. Cohen learned how disloyal Trump was and he realized he had to be honest about his ex-boss’s corruption to begin to heal from his transgressions of character. Cohen has told Congress, while under oath, about Trump’s financial crimes. He has continued to warn America that Trump cares only about himself, money and power and is dangerous. In his new book Revenge, he is warning Americans of how important it is to vote against all Trump MAGA candidates. The book sounds the alarm about what Cohen refers to as Ttump’s intention to turn America into an autocracy.

What good is saving money on groceries or gas if we live in a country where corrupt, partisan judges can overturn settled law? What good is extra money if we lose individual rights because an autocratic leader rules against them? What good is it if inflation goes down but Medicare, Social Security, the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid get slashed and pharmaceutical costs increase? Republicans are bought by dark money donors and don’t support spending on federal programs that their base and millions of Americans need to sustain their health and living situations.

These rich, white elites will laugh as their power- driven arrogance will irreparably hurt poor, elderly, disabled, minority Americans. The current Republican party is led by people who will enact a cold, mean, religious-based, racially unjust agenda. Those who vote these election denying, crazy conspiracy theorists into office should be targeted to suffer the consequences of their un- American vote. Those who voted non-MAGA should be shielded from the negative consequences of the MAGA movement.

VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS, GET OUT, AND VOTE. CHOOSE COUNTRY OVER PARTY. CHOOSE RIGHT OVER WRONG. CHOOSE UNITY OVER DIVISIVENESS. CHOOSE LOVE OVER HATE. CHOOSE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY’S NEEDS OVER CULT WORSHIPPING. CHOOSE DEMOCRACY OVER AUTOCRACY.
