President Biden’s strength as a leader comes from his competence and integrity as a person. A real man, not a faux strongman like the former guy, Biden isn’t anyone’s puppet or a circus-barker desperately searching for rallies or loyalty pledges to feed his ego. Biden ran for president to try to recover America’s morality from the corruption Trump has inflicted on the government, the Republican party, and gullible, vulnerable Americans. He is facing monumental challenges with the COVID surge, ending the Afghanistan War, Hurricane Ida, and a country divided by politics and race. However, he has managed to be unaffected by the wacky rantings and criticisms of the likes of Kevin McCarthy, Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz and other unworthy, insignificant Trump servants.
Trump supporters should ask themselves why after eight months of claiming the election was stolen, has no evidence from any state recount found Trump won more votes than Biden? Anyone who continues to believe the “big lie” when it has been disproven by conservative-run recounts is either unintelligent, a partisan cultist, or anti-American. The Arizona recount results are being withheld because it proved TRUMP LOST. Every claim of fraud was frivolous and thrown out of the courts by both Republican and Democratic judges. Even the Supreme Court rejected claims of fraud by Trump attorneys. The only liars are ” big lie” supporters.
The infiltration of conspiracy theorists into Congress is another reflection of the growing number of extremists in the Republican electorate. The outdated, Republican party is overflowing with old white men, young white supremacists, religious white women who accept subservience to obnoxious, faux masculine men, and hypocritical evangelicals. The party is fueled by hate and driven by power aimed to inflict their Christian- dominated, racist ideology on all Americans. It is fine for Republicans to oppose the funding social programs or disagree with the priorities of the Democrats, however why does opposition have to be hateful and aggressive?
The war on masks is proof that the Republican Party’s claim of being the party of Christian values is a ” big lie”. Enabling a man who is adulterous, law-breaking, dishonest, crude, and mean, who lost the presidency and both Houses makes them complicit in his crimes against democracy and decency. Americans are needlessly dying from COVID and the variant because of the brainwashing against and politicizing of masks-wearing, mask-mandating, and vaccinations. Industries, school districts, and the courts are fighting the sociopathic campaigning of Republicans that disregards human life in the hope of political gain.
If this dangerous movement continues, maybe Adam Kinzinger, Liz Cheney, and other Republican patriots will start a new Republican party and neuter the movement of Trumpism, and restore a truly democratic, two-party system. President Biden is navigating the most criminal, indecent, anti-American opposition ever waged against a U.S. president. Despite this, he keeps working to rebuild the economy that Trump trashed, saving, not destroying lives, and saving democracy.
