The crazy talker of all is the toxic embarrassment to journalism Fox’s Tucker Carlson, who yesterday encouraged his audience to confront parents in public who have their kids wear masks for the purpose of protecting them from contracting or spreading COVID. He encouraged these gullible wackos to call the police and report parents for committing child abuse.
Stories are being reported almost daily about how the Republican party has become corrupted by the Trump-addicted Freedom Caucus. There is no doubt, and history will confirm, that Donald Trump severely degraded and damaged America’s democracy by corrupting the Republican party and committing crimes against the Constitution. Those who still revere Trump as their great leader or shake in their boots at his bullying are conducting themselves like traitors to democracy, pathological hypocrites, conspiracy theorists, and liars.
In replacement for presenting counter policies to the Biden Administration’s agenda, Republicans are spreading lies to demonize Democrats, lie about the election results, and play to the agenda of a base made up of disturbed Qanon followers, White Supremacists, and criminals like Steve Bannon, Roger Stone, Paul Manifort, General Mike Flynn, And Rep. Matt Gaetz. Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan should be included in the nefarious group of current Republicans for keeping silent about the molestations of Ohio State wrestlers by the team coach.
Republican lawmakers have lowered the bar on what it means to keep their oath to protect the Constitution as well as to uphold the teachings of the Bible which they now hypocriticallly violate. They acquitted the most autocratic, law- breaking, low character president in U.S. in two impeachment proceedings while holding their powers hungry noses knowing he was guilty. Tear-gassing peaceful protesters, politicizing the military, defending the crimes of dictators, illegally trying to change the presidential election outcome, committing campaign finance crimes by paying off porn star Stormy Daniels, INCITING THE DEADLY INSURRECTION AT THE CAPITOL ON JAN. 6TH BY SPREADING THE LIE OF A STOLEN ELECTION, LIED UNDER OATH TO SPECIAL COUNSEL ROBERT MUELLER, MADE A MOCKERY OF THE BIBLE BY USING IT AS A PROP IN AN EMBARRASSING PHOTO OP DURING THE BLACK LIVES MATTER DEMONSTRATIONS, INTERFERED IN PROSECUTIONS OF HIS CRIMINAL FRIENDS, PARDONED CRIMINALS WHO COMMITTED CRIMES AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT, BLOCKED PEOPLE FROM ANSWERING TO CONGRESSIONAL SUBPOENAS, CALLED WHITE SUPREMACIST MARCHING IN CHARLOTTESVILLE GOOD PEOPLE, AND TOLD THE INSURRECTIONISTS HE LOVED THEM AND THEY WERE GOOD PEOPLE, ETC.ETC!
The hypocrisy by Republicans in Congress is brutal to listen to. The degree of their hypocrisy is pathological and a symptom of the corruption that has spread throughout the party like a cancer. They are are accusing Biden not being bipartisan, while they demonstrated toxic partisan power-grabbing when they were in the majority before Trump got decidedly booted out of office.
The GOP’s definitionon of bipartisanship when they are the minority party is “do everything we want, replace your policies with our policies everytime we ask.” This Trump- wing of the party is shameless in their sense of entitlement to break norms, disregard the rule of law, and to refuse to show respect for and work with the current, legitably elected President Biden. How is that not traitorous?
Thank God Biden won. He must be bold in pursuing his agenda, ignore being erroneously called a left-wing socialist and a partisan power-grabber. The Republicans led by the cowering, Trump-emasculated Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell will be remembered in the history books as the most anti-democracy, weak, dishonest lawmakers in U.S. history. Corrupt leaders never have cheerful endings.
