The President Has Stopped Working. Not That They He Ever Worked That Hard, Given His Time- Consuming Hobbies Of Golfing, TV Watching, Tweeting, And Rallying. However, His Disastrous Handling Of The Pandemic And His Anemic Response To The Racial Injustice Reform Movement Has Expanded Awareness Of His Dangerous Incompetence. Not Even Intel Indicating Russia Hired Taliban Bounty Killers To Target American Troops Has Caused Him To Focus On His Job To Protect Americans.

After denying being informed in March about U.S. intelligence reports that Russia hired Taliban bounty killers to target American and British troops, Trump is still doing nothing about it now that he DOES know. Instead, amidst this shocking news about Russian aggression, the spiking pandemic, and a stalemate in Congress on a police reform bill, the President is on the golf course with his favorite man-servant, Senator Lindsay Graham. If anyone of us worked so little and performed this poorly at our jobs like this slacker President, we would be fired. Government reform on the power of the presidency must be on the agenda in Congress when it is no longer controlled by Moscow-friendly Mitch McConnell.

The Administration is in spin-mode about Trump either not reading the intelligence briefing on Russian operations in Afghanistan to harm American troops or if told, did nothing about. It is also known Trump made several private calls to Putin since the information was known to U.S. Intelligence. Speaker Nancy Pelosi posed a chilling question as to whether the intelligence officials were afraid to tell Trump about the accusation of bounty’ s being paid to the Taliban to kill American troops for fear of what he might share with Putin? Is the President an ally of Russia and a traitor to America?In the meantime, America is in crisis on every level. Yet, Trump is more worried about saving slave monuments, holding health-threatening rallies, and keeping in good standing with Russia. It seems Vladimir Putin scares Trump. Why? Vladimir Putin is someone Trump wants to like him. Why?

Throughout his tenure as President, Trump has denied or downplayed Russian wrongdoing or any actions that suggest anti-American ideology. Both Republicans and Democrats have expressed curiosity about whether Trump is compromised by salacious information Russia may have on him. In Helsinki, on the world stage, he sided with Putin over our intelligence agencies finding that Russia interfered in the 2016 Presidential election to help him get elected. He said, “Putin denies that Russia interfere, and I don’t see why they would have.” Could siding with an adversary over our own government intelligence community on the issue of the sanctity of our elections be considered treason? No other president has ever taken that position with Russia or any country’s efforts to damage the integrity of our elections. Instead of being appalled and outwardly defending U.S. intelligence agencies, Trump told the world he believed Putin, a notorious enemy of civil rights, a free press, and the American democratic system.

Another critical question is;

HOW DO WE CONVINCE TRUMP SUPPORTERS WHY THE PRESIDENT BEING ALIGNED WITH RUSSIA, HAVING SECRET TALKS WITH PUTIN, AND STAYING SILENT WHEN RUSSIA ATTEMPTS HARM TO AMERICAN DEMOCRACY SHOULD CONCERN THEM? SHOULDN’T THESE FACTS BE MORE IMPORTANT THEN LIKING HIS WHITE IDENTITY POLITICS OR HIS FRAGILE, TEMPORARY ECONOMIC WINS THAT ONLY BENEFIT THE RICH?

The base resents being referred to as stupid, racist, greedy, or cultists, but they deny facts from Trump’s own divisive words, actions, and inactions as he destructively executes his duties as President. The White House’s explanation that Trump was never told in March about Russia’s efforts to harm American troops is concerning on several levels. Is the President lying, choosing his alliance to Putin over the lives of our soldiers? Democratic Senator Steny Hoyer commented on MSNBC today that it is also disturbing if officials withheld the information from the President because they feared he wouldn’t take action because of Putin, or because they felt he would not understand the intelligence information and therefore could make a counter-productive decision?

Aside from whether he knew in March that Russia was suspected of planning to kill U.S. troops, he knows it now and is not calling emergency meetings to address the threat because he is in Virginia golfing.One has to wonder whether Trump is beginning to think he has little chance of winning re-election, so he is going full-throttle into racist, money/power-hungry, burn-down the government mode to enjoy the rest of the ride in office. One also has to wonder if he is oblivious to the fact if he loses re-election, any past, current, or future crimes he commits against our democracy might cost him his freedom. Is his preference for the color orange a forecast of what awaits him? As for Lindsay Graham, Mark Meadows, Mitch McConnell, Mike Pence, and countless others who have gambled their careers and character on Trump, they will be remembered only for their alliance with America’s worst President and the loss of their allegiance to the Constitution.
