There has never been a weaker, more nationally humiliating president in our history than Donald Trump. Being tall, over-weight, loudmouthed, and vindictive have helped him create an image of a strong man, but strong men don’t whine and bully. Strong men are confident, so lying and threatening others is an unnecessary coping mechanism for them.
The impeachment trial in the Senate is exposing Trump’s view of himself as an autocrat, and unaccepting of any of the checks and balances put forth in the Constitution towards the presidency. It is also proving that when it comes to hiring lawyers, Cabinet officials, and staff, no one is better than he is in finding the most partisan, opportunistic people. If you study Trump’s career, it is apparent why his own state of New York despised him and mistrusted him to the point he no longer was able to borrow money to build property in NYC. He defaulted on loans and contractors and made enemies by the bullying, disrespectful way he treated people. His thirst for money and power has always been there, and it clearly is driving how he runs this country. Every policy seems to be about money and power, lacking interest in human rights, the survival of the planet, or the health of millions of Americans.
He is angry all of the time because he is scared all of the time. His bluster is an act. He has good reason to be afraid of as the impeachment trial proceeds, more information about his scheme to have Ukraine investigate Joe Biden is being revealed. Clearly, he will not be removed from office because he has poisoned Republicans to believe that staying in power is more important than the rule of law and morality. Videos have been released showing Trump lying about what he knows, who he knows, and plotting with Giuliani and Lev Parnez to remove Ambassador Yovanovich to help corrupt the 2020 election. And still, the Republican Senators remain loyal to Trump over their oath of office.
TRUMP SUPPORTERS MUST WATCH THE GODFATHER AND GOODFELLAS TO UNDERSTAND HOW TRUMP, POMPEO, BARR, AND MULVANEY ARE CORRUPT CHARACTERS USING THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT FOR PERSONAL POWER AND GAIN. The dialogue they use when lying and defending against criticism is right out of those screenplays.
However, a parade of career conservative republicans no longer under Trump’s control, are coming forward to call Trump out on his lies and schemes. Ambassador John Bolton is known for putting national security above all other political concerns. He reports in his book having concerns about Trump’s pattern of doing favors for adversaries. He says he told AG Barr of his concerns, and Barr said he agreed. Barr has denied this because he is part of the inner circle of characters protecting the president despite corruption or policies threatening to our national interests. General John Kelly, Trump’s former Chief of Staff, has said John Bolton is not a liar, and he believes anything he claims to be factual. That means he thinks the president is lying.
Groups formed by conservative Republicans are developing strategies to expose Trump as corrupt and unfit for office. Attorney George Conway and author and political strategist Rick Wilson have created the Lincoln Project to inform the public about why Trump is dangerous to the country and unfit for the office. The talking point that Trump is discredited only by Democrats is false.
IF THE CONSERVATIVE BASE AND HYPOCRITICAL EVANGELICALS DON’T BELIEVE ANY INFORMATION COMING FROM DEMOCRATS, THEY SHOULD CONSIDER LISTENING TO LIFE LONG REPUBLICAN PATRIOTS WHO ARE ORGANIZING AGAINST THE “RULE” OF TRUMP. HERO WORSHIP WHEN THE HERO IS TOXIC IS DANGEROUS.
